The incredible estrogen of the trio needs to conveyed. Just repeating "talent" three times might as well describe a group of men.

No. No matter how much of a lesbian admirer I am there's no chance in hell I'd want to watch that threesome... I really should be more careful with my use of the word "threesome". On a somewhat related note, anyone wondering what a PJ Harvey/Bjork double date would be like (with Vincent Gallo & Matthew Barney respectively), should listen to the Rasputina song/skit "PJ + Vincent & Matthew + Bjork" from their 'Cabin Fever' album. It's way funny.

Put me down for Bjork "..My work is personal, I'm a working person, I put in work, I work with purpose.."

I just meant that much of their work, many of their songs, are gender specific. I don't think a man could have pulled off some of the tracks from 'To Bring You My Love' or the entire "Me And A Gun" song--they would have to be totally rewritten. I think that female mojo is very important to their success and should be implied in the cover copy.

You mean like humping a piano bench or releasing a covers album with multiple covers? [Edited 10/5/04 8:25am] When the sunlight strikes raindrops in the air, they act as a prism and form a rainbow. You know what, I was thinking about recording a Tori Amos cover album myself. The vocal parts will be performed entirely by recording a humidifier and slowly squeaking the air out of a balloon. You could just knife yourself in the throat. It makes a similar sound.

I like Tori. And have done since I first heard Silent All These Years on the radio. In many ways I'm glad she's around or else I'd be missing Kate a helluva lot more than I already do.

Why dont you ask Anxiety, mrdespues, VAMPIRELLA, CloudBuster, subhuman09 or enporphin74? 'Cause those are the people who said Tori Amos sounds like Kate Bush. i like tori amos a lot even when i like björj too. i have both music but tori's lyrics are greater and i like most. i think someone was asking for a great björk disk after homogenic, i have to say vespertine, that lp is so sad and beautiful. i like it a lot but tori amos is great, i fall with every one of her song because of her voice and piano and lyrics.
answering to pandorito(i think that was his/her name): i prefer tori amos even when i'm european and i don't like bush at all, better not to say what i think about him.

The thing is that it's easy to throw all female singers that use their voices differently together. All three singers discussed here have their own niche in the being of things.
Kate Bush for being an inspiration. Many of her albums still rock my world. Tori Amos for the road she is traveling. I do not like her EVERY album, but at least she is out there doing her thing. Bjork to me is special. Because she is daring enough to be out there AND daring. Taking NEW roads that are as adventurous as her music, always on the cutting edge with her artful video's, her amazing art design and photography and her amazing remixes. So even though I am in a Kate Bush withdrawal (Sensual World! The Dreaming! Hounds Of Love!) I opt for Bjork. Cuz she goes to award shows with glitters on her ENTIRE face.
