Do u think on MJ sites, they talk about.. This is something I've noticed a helluva lot on here, and wondered why it's so rampant. There are an awful lot of MJ threads on here, which is fine. But it made me wonder, "I wonder if Prince gets mentioned this much on a Michael site?" Just a question. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

Actually, in my experience, they talk quite a bit about Prince on MJ fanboards. And like here, some have respect for both, others are fanatics who make stupid remarks. Right, Luv4oneanotha? "It's better 2 B hated 4 what U R than 2 B loved 4 what U R not."

Oh yah the Zero tolerance fans the ones that still think the man looks gorgeous lol and i agree with ya black they do rag on Mj alot then again, these are people that look for reasons to hate on the man they just despise him, Same way i use to despise Madonna, if you don't like him, don't bother going to the thread thats why i AVOID usher threads | |

This is a little off-topic, but I always represent Prince on a Janet Jackson site that I belong to.
In fact, since I've been lurking on this site for quite some time, I regularly post on the Janet Friend's forum that the members of this site are generally supportive of Janet as well as Michael. That's one of the reasons that I decided to join Prince.org.: you guys just seem to be genuinely interested in music. (Of course, I've been a Prince fan for quite some time now, too, so....) | |

But i don't think P can walk on water P is probably one of the most self indulgent Egotisticle, selfrighteous Pop icons around but i still love him I don't care if he's a JW or is ruining his current style Anybody who could think up something like Sign O The Times gets my respect for life As For Mj... All i want is new music from him, and hopefully i'll get that I remember this one time i was in a Mjforum and i was arguing with some teenybop Mj lovers about Mikes Artistic Wealth My case was Mj lost his artistic edge... He reached his artistic Pinnicle with History in which he composed wrote majority of the songs especially the Beautiful "Stranger In Moscow" i mean thats how i knew he was serious, it wasn't just about churning pop hits and competing with yourself it was about writing,playing instruments, developing artistiic creations i saw in him what i saw in Prince Raw Artistic Expression then later in his career he's finding himself Competeting with new pop icons such as usher and timberlake... and he turns from Artist into Desperet Popstar... Michael is unquestionably the better singer and dancer, and you could argue he's the better overall entertainer, but prince has just made so much more music of so much more variety and has written, arranged, produced and played the instruments on all his own stuff (albeit not always entirely by himself). That being said though, I think a lot of prince's albums, even during his peak, are mixed bags with some great songs and some mediocre or even just bad ones, and I think some of the albums people consider Prince's best haven't aged as well as the ones considered to be Michael's best. Plus I think If you were to take the absolute best songs of both of them (or at least the ones I think are the best ) they'd come out pretty even. | |

Michael Jackson fans don't listen to any other music than Michael Jackson and The Jackson 5. Altough some have been known to listen to The Jacksons as well, but that's kind of rare. | |

Michael Jackson doesn't play any instruments, he started putting that in his Liner Notes because of his hard-on for Prince. IF he could, with a EGO like his show off this.. wouldn't he show off every chance he had? Watch his 3 hour concerts. They are 100% dance / 95% Lip Synced. IF you could play an instrument you would break the show up. Because right now they are lip snyced / dance moves from 15 years ago.. bore fest. It is basically a Glorified Vegas Tribute Act.

Forget photos of him sat at a piano or the I'll Be There Pepsi commercial (You don't actually see him play the piano at all), he just doesn't play.i don't believe the liner notes for 'Morphine' either where it says he plays nearly everything. liner notes on one song on one your own albums can say what the hell you want them too if you're Michael Jackson. I've been a fan since i was 6 in 1976, and i can honestly say 'ive never seen Michael play any instrument. Ever!!! Honest.  |
