Damn, Dave. There was no Anita Baker thread?

Well, I have it and it is wonderful and worth the ten year wait. My favorite tracks are:

How Does It Feel
In My Heart
Men In My Life

Those three are on repeat all the time. This album feels like home. The flow is kinda adult contemp./jazz. It is a perfect Anita Baker album. I love it.

Just entered the Billboard 200 at #4. Yet another comeback - it's as if she never left.

Yup #4 pop and #1 r&b. This is like her 4th #1 r&b album . Its like she never left. Her comeback is kind of like when Sade left for years and came back in 2000 with Lovers Rock. The album is a must have by the way! woot!

Most of the album features a live rhythm section backing her up and the wonderful thang is she said that most of the album is a ONE-TAKE-PROJECT nod

No wonder why it sounds kinda fresh music

Now all we need is for Donna Summer to make a comeback.

biggrin One take, with a live backing band - now that's a R&B album we need right about now.

Yeah, the dj said it didn't look like she had passed to many drive-thru's by which made me laugh. lol

But I personally thought she looked stoned.
