Yet even though I'm more of Prince fan, I respect Michael's contribution to music. Michael deserves respect as an artist. I just prefer Prince as a songwriter, vocalist, musician and performer. It's probably more a matter of personal taste.

Damn, I must've said this same shit a million times. What is it with all the MJ, Prince comparison threads. There are so many other artists that you could more easily compare P to, why do people always bring up MJ?

duh, I hate to see MJ underrated as a songwriter. Lack of MJ's songwriting is what makes 2300 Jackson Street a dull album.

And I gotta say MJ is really versatile musically too. Didnt he do almost a lil bit of everything?
