Your favourite tracks by Maze feat. Frankie Beverly

IMHO one of the most magnificent Soul acts ever. Frankie never even lurked one inch into Pop/Top40 crossover, never changed his music to follow trends and current fashion. He always stayed true to his style like very few artists manage. And he turned out many gorgeous albums and soul gems over the years. I'm also thankful I was also able to witness at least one of their fantastic life shows a couple of years ago.

Here's some of my faves:

Can't get over you
I wanna thank you
Back in stride
Joy and Pain
Too many games
Before I Let Go
Golden Time of Day
Love Is The Key
Feel That Your're Feelin'
Can't stop the Love
Call on me
A place in my heart
We are one
Running Away
Nobody Knows What You Feel Inside
Happy Feelins
Silky Soul
Southern Girl
Working Togehter
Twilight
Lovely Inspiration
Ain't it strange
The Morning After
Changin Times
Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!

well, that's my absolute favourite by them.
Especially the live version with the long intro,
the 1 on the "Live in New Orleans" from 1980.

Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections... unknown

"The Look In Your Eyes" live version is my absolute favorite track also. Another one of my favorites is "Running Away".

Good grief! falloff

"Back in Stride"
"Joy and Pain"

"Before I Let Go" had to be Bentley's (NYC urban dance club) anthem. Everyone would sing the entire song, and the DJ would turn down the volume and let the crowd sing this part:

Whoa, no
Before I let you go
Oh...
I would never, never, never, never, never, never, never
Never let you go before I go
