Evelyn Champagne King-"Get Loose"(THE ALBUM) 
Damn, its been a long loooong looooong ass time since I've played this sucka. The self-title track & "I Can't Stand It" are wearing my black ass out 
"Back To Love" get played the hell out everytime I get back from work at night,,,that song hit home hard ya'll 
Every damn track is the BEST str8 outta Kashif's camp, that brotha should've kept that album 4 himself

In the summer of '82,Evelyn was kicking ass with this album! The first single "Love Come Down" quickly became one of the essential R&B jams of that summer,and she followed it up with the superior "Betcha She Don't Love You".You couldn't turn on the radio without hearing one of those songs.A hot album from a very underrated artist. | |

I love Evelyn "Champagne" King but I only have one of her albums. I can't think of the album title but it includes "I'm In Love", "If You Want My Lovin", and "Spirit Of The Dancer". I mostly have a few of her 45s and 12 Inches and her greatest hits CD.
I remember the title track "Get Loose", which was a jam. Was "Action" and "Shakedown" on this album? "Action" is my all time favorite Evelyn "Champagne" King song. Andy is a four letter word. | |

The album you have is her 1981 album titled 'I'm In Love'.The songs "Action" and "Shakedown" are from her 1983 album 'Face To Face',which also includes some production work by Andre Cymone (he wrote,produced and sings backup on the third single "Teenager"). | |
