Is Prince still gonna be part of the Essence Festival?

Since it has been reported that Prince is sick with a sore throat. Will he still be doing the show this coming Friday at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans? Does anyone know if this will be broadcast on television?

I know they had been rehearsing especially 4 it, but I would find it VERY HIGHLY doubtful now.

There are much more important things 2 consider now, and John and his family should be allowed 2 take as much time as they need - pressure from fans isn't what he needs right now.
