I hate to say that I wasn't that impressed with the video. However, I'm sure it'll get a lot of play on BET and maybe VH1 (maybe). And it certainly sounds like an R&B hit, much more so than Musicology. | |

Yeah but I like it and Prince has never really been one for big budget storyline acting vids. I mean there was the Gett Off video which I still think was one of his best. The message in this video was nice too. Prince is a live funk/rock theatre type of guy he can't hit all of them out of the park. I am begining to wonder why people even do videos nowadays. 1. MTV and MTV2 hardly ever play the damn things anymore. 2. When they do its only in like 30 sec snippets. 3. The damn things just seem to cost too much! Peace THE CARDINAL HAS SPOKEN!!! | |

He has crossed over to a different plane of musicdom. Like Buffet, the Dead, the Stones he can make a shit load more money from touring. I know that this is his biggest tour in ages, but he has been pretty much touring non stop for close to 8 years now (JAM OF THE YEAR). If anything he is better off without spendings millions on that type of promo. He should do more talk shows specifically Oprah, Dave, and Conan. | |

I personally thought the video was o.k.
Not great, but not by any means bad. So I am between EWM and the rest of you on this. Perhaps all the video needs is some more thought in its concept. Maybe if Prince would have Lined the entire stage wit Plastic Vaginas. Blue ones, green ones, yellow ones, and so forth. And have all the viganas in unison call his name at the beginning of the video in that deep sultry RainBow Children Darth Vader Voice. And at the very end Prince could strip his drawers off and reveal that in fact he has his own Vagina down there...you know, down there where it comes. | |

The last video by any 'old' artist that I walked away impressed with was Aerosmith's "Jaded"... the last Prince video that I walked away impressed with was "Gett Off" At this point, do you really expect a video from Prince with fireworks shooting from his assless pants? | |
