Plastic-case Musicology

I noticed in Grace Bros today that a regular plastic-case Musicology is making it's way into stores. Looks like we've got another Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic thing on our hands here. I must say it is refreshing to see an album with the word "Prince" on it, in a regular plastic jewel case. We haven't had that for ten years.

Oh sorry, it's now "Myer". I'm a Sydneysider too. I don't like this new name change, I've grown up my whole life going to Grace Bros... have you noticed how obsessive they've gotten? Up and down Macquarie Centre every single reference to Grace Bros has been stickered over with Myer....

Oh yes and they also had NPS on sale for $9.95 cool

i wouldn't mind plain ol' jewel case packaged prince albums again - all these digipack/schmancy packaging albums are all fine and well at first, but they don't really have much of a shelf life. heck, i hardly ever touch my copy of RAVE, and it's looking pretty ragged.

I agree totally. N.E.W.S. definitely wasn't designed to last!

the plastic tray in the NEWS album was apparently designed to come unglued from the origami cardboard cover three days after purchase or something, ugh...
