list the scenes in graffiti bridge that made you cringe

Griffiti Bridge is aguably one of the worst films in history(acting, sets etc.).What are some specific moments that made your skin crawl? I'm still gonna buy it on DVD but this will make it all the more fun to watch.

I can't think of any particular scene. The whole thing is very cringe worthy. But there's nothing wrong with a bad movie! 1960s horror flick director Ed Wood is generally known to movie buffs as being the worst film director ever (and rightfully so!) but his movies sell really well because everyone is so curious about how one man can make so many horrible movies! Modern day director Tim Burton even made a movie biography about him!. Maybe Prince will get the same recognition lol. Nah, just kidding! What I love about Graffiti Bridge is it's sheer innocence. It's like a childrens drawing that you stick on the refridgerator: It's real bad, but the kid doesn't know that, but you can still see his spirit in there!. Can't knock Prince for trying can we?!

That one part when they have the "gangfight" and Prince shows up lookin all Boy George with his warpaint and his ponytail, and he's got "HURT ME" written on his damn self, and the best thing he can think of to do is sing "Tick Tick Bang". lol

But seriously, the worst thing about the movie is that the musical scenes sucked, too.
Purple Rain had some bad scenes, like when Apollonia says "what do you dream about?"
But the performances made it great.

Scenes that suck:

1) The Elephants and Flowers scene where people kept walking out of the club even though you never saw them in the club. And the naked people dancing...unintentionally hilarious.

2) Any scene with TC Ellis

3) The scene with Ingrid Chavez under that fake ass bridge and Morris and Jerome driving over it.

4) Any scene that contains the dialogue "It's just around the corner".

5) The scene where the ambulance takes like 5 seconds to get there after Ingrid is smashed by the jeep and subsequently turns into a feather.

6) Pretty much every other scene in the movie.

Scenes that are okay;

1) The hot pepper scene and the dualing money clips scene with the Time. (Funny on purpose).

2) The Round and Round scene (even though I couldn't figure out if Mavis Staples was supposed to be his Mom).

There are probably any number of great drinking games for this movie. Drink a shot everytime Prince looks like a wounded puppy; drink a shot everytime the scenery looks fake, etc.
All good things they say never last...

I cringed at those also.

I'm going with the vote of EVERYTHING but "Joy in Repetition."

Sadly, I dragged about 5 friends with me to the theatre opening day.

If I remember right Prince drives around the bridge, which would be essentially through the river, which obviously doesn't exist, since it's a soundstage (why the hell don't they just film outdoors?). He probably did this because it was so damn steep, as Morris showed in one of the amusing parts.

Like you said, the movie had some funny stuff, but most was unintentional.

Any scene where T.C. Ellis or Robin Power did ANYTHING! ill

I didn't mind the cheap-looking sets (I work in musical theatre, after all), but I hated the Bridge itself... it looked like they'd stumbled onto the set of the Dark Crystal after the post-shooting wrap party! nuts

Everytime Prince leans into what you think will be a kiss with Aura and then - a hug. Arghh! I dragged some college friends to that on opening night. They thought I was off my rocker!

I just hate the bridge itself. You name a movie and a song after a bridge, you'd expect it to be pretty special and central to the movie somehow - instead it's just some paper mache fairy tale thing in the middle of an unrealistic outdoor set. And kids have travelled all the way out of the city JUST to put graffiti on it.

And the angel woman lives underneath it.

Like a troll.

Apparently we are all looking for Grafitti Bridge. I should think it is in a skip somewhere.

the part that makes me cringe in graffit bridge the most is when he performs the song where he says "oooh, it's gettin all over me." I think that's actually my least favorite prince song.

And, when P saves ol' girl from morris' jungle lovin', it shows him carrying her to his home/club whatever, and he's not breaking a sweat. he's just kinda groovin' along. I thought that was fake, but who knows, maybe he actually was carrying her. Just thought it kinda odd.

LOL. It was like mixing one of Michael Jackson's stupid dancing gang warefare videos with the cast of Fame and Welcome Back Carter. Cringworthy only begins to explain the emotional rollercoaster I went through

Definately the scene where Ingrid is plowed over by the vehicle and the ambulance is their within seconds. The Morris Day line was sooooo aweful, I found myself wanting to rent Desperately Seeking Susan to feel better for being a PRince fan.
