VIDEOS for SINGLES = CONFUSED Okay so we know there is a video for Call My Name that has been shot and is about to start getting airtime on BET/MTV etc. This is the "single" for the US.
In the UK (and Europe?) SONY are releasing Cinnamon Girl on Monday 28. So does that have a video? If not then that's a mistake! 'I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally. He's with our son now.' Mayte 21st April 2016 = the saddest quote I have ever read! RIP Prince and thanks for everything.

Wasn't there a video shot that depicts Manu working in a Cinn-a-bon while there is a war going on outside and she acts completely oblivious to it all?

I hate to say it but the rst of Europe havent wallowed in 9/11 as much as the USA (obviously).
Its cliche but Engaln/Britain is a country that has dealt with terrorism for years (with American companies such as MacDonalds paying the IRA) and we arent big headed enough to think that teh world loves us and wouldnt do anything like that. Im not trying to be disrespectful just trying to make the point that a dull song like Cinamon Girl may well sell in the USA because of it reference to their "darkest hour" but in the uK its just a crap track banging on about the consequences of something that happened 3 years ago.

maybe so, but apparently the rest of world has an opinion/idea about the U.S. at war with Iraq. i am sure that is true with big companies giving into terrorist groups(ya,that's what i wrote) like the IRA. there may B many americans that think the 'world loves and wouldn't do anything like that', but i can honestly say, terrorism is BiG MONEY. Im not trying to be disrespectful just trying to make the point that a dull song like Cinamon Girl may well sell in the USA because of it reference to their "darkest hour" but in the uK its just a crap track banging on about the consequences of something that happened 3 years ago.
Cinnamon Girl can cause a unwanted 'anti-patriot' wave against prince if this was the choosen single. 4 Xample: The Dixie Chicks 2toratora

UK releasedate for 'Cinnamon girl' is now august 2nd.
There is no official releasedate published as of yet for the Netherlands and Belgium (where this advance promo has surfaced). He still has plenty of time to shoot a video!

I doubt that. Although it's certainly anti-war, CG is pretty tame as anti-war songs go.

I doubt that. Although it's certainly anti-war, CG is pretty tame as anti-war songs go. Yeah, the Dixie Chicks had a direct go at Bush. Whereas Prince just kind of says, isn't war and terrorism terrible? It's not anti anyone in particular. 'Prince in 'War is Horrible' shocker!' So Cinnamon Girl doesn't have a b-side? Jeez, we've gone from rare b-sides and extended versions to naff remixes and acapella versions to not even having a second track! That's the trouble with cd singles, you can hide the fact that 90 percent of the disc hasn't been used, whereas on a vinyl single you'd notice the lack of grooves!
