Prince has been known to sign things in the past - but not recently. Many celebrities decline to sign things these days - because people mercenarily put signatures up for sale on e-bay exactly like this! So I guess the people that earn a living this way have no resort but to forge signatures. I don't know how anyone is supposed to tell anymore. | |

OK, I went to look on that website and wrote the guy an angry letter about what a FRAUD he was. So this is his reply:
this came to me from a good sorce i sell only items that i beleive to be 100 %authentic ,signed in la i beleive may 28,2004 , if you can give me any info to back up you claim i will gladly remove it ! i am a fan as well ,i have only the best of intentions
thank you doug ive got prince to sign 3 times for your fyi in 88, in 2000 and 2002 .....he held a record signing in 2000 he does sign , just not as often as we would like Well Im not a Prince-connaisseur so I don't know if what he says is true. Anyone?? | |

Oh come on - I'm not a Prince expert but I know he stopped doing autographs a long time ago, so a copy of Rolling Stone of 2004 with an autograph is definitely fake!  | |

GUYS!! hello!!!!! you know this is a fake!! I mean we all know that P. doesn't sign anymore...that's a given, but if you look it say's "Love God" if he REALLY wrote this, wouldn't it say Love Jehova? JW's don't use the word God. Sooo...this means that someone forged this from a dated autographed piece well before he turned JW!!

And that gives u the right 2 go spout off at that guy before knowing anythin 4 definate...how? Seen as ur so sure it's a fake, would u care 2 enlighten us? 4 the record, he signed my photo back in 88 love God. and as much as He likes 2 tell us one thing, u know he has a tendancy 2 do differently than his image would have him portray - this could have come from any number of sources.
