Oh, Prince unreleased tracks driving me nuts!

wave

Hi. I'd like to bend your ear if I may. I'm going back to the UK soon and I'm trying to get my unreleased stuff together on a collection of CDRs. I've been on the computer since 9am (it's now 5:32pm here) listening to tracks and reading thru the back pages of DMSR trying to pin a year to each song. Please help me out with some years and info for these following tracks:

2 B Alive (fake?)

5 Women, Sarah, Old Friends For Sale (orig. ones without overdubs)

17 Days (Damn!), Mama, Purple Rain, nameless instrumental, showering beauty (Intimate Moments? Year?)

1000 Hugs & Kisses

Allegiance

Climax (instr. and bass track)

Cookie Jar

Don't Say U Love Me

Electric Man (? Of U in the making?)

Schoolyard

Snowman

Fuschia Light

I Can't Love U Anymore

I Wonder (90 or 91?)

Livin' 2 Die

Loving You (...Loving Yet... rock number - status quo esque lol )

Parlor Games, Penetration, Rootzie Kazootie, R U Legal Yet, Dopamine Rush... (1988 or 1990s? For '24' right? Was it released?)

The P

Stone

Holy River Instrumental

Question Of U Instrumental

Thieves In The Temple acoustic guitar

...
..
.

Here's a trio that's been bugging me so much:

Witness 4 The Prosecution - Rough guitar rock one and bouncy version

We Can Funk - Heavy gritty one and bouncy version

Wonderful Ass - long intro one 9 mins + and 6 mins shorter version

When were these tracks done?

...
..
.

I know I'm asking for a lot but I have tried to do my research. I'm just completely spent after looking up 150 odd songs already. I've drawn a blank with these ones above so please help me if u can, even if it's just one or two songs.

I'll be your best friend. big grin

pray

I'm doing this off the top of my head and it's by no means exact, but I hope this makes it easier for you:

"B Alive (fake?)"
yes

"5 Women, Sarah, Old Friends For Sale (orig. ones without overdubs)"
'Old Friends 4 Sale': Parade era track
'5 Women': D&P era track
'Sarah' Emancipation: era track

"17 Days (Damn!), Mama, Purple Rain, nameless instrumental, showering beauty (Intimate Moments? Year?)"
Piano session from 1983, engineered by Peggy Mc Creary.

"1000 Hugs & Kisses"
Come era track

"Allegiance"
post D & P era track

"Climax (instr. and bass track)"
Purple Rain era tracks

"Cookie Jar"
Rave Unto The Joy Fanstatic/Batman era track

"Don't Say U Love Me"
D & P era track

"Electric Man (? Of U in the making?)"
First performed onstage during the Parade tour

"Schoolyard"
D & P era track

"Snowman"
Come era track

"Fuschia Light"
post-Lovesexy era track

"I Can't Love U Anymore"
Symbol era track

"I Wonder (90 or 91?)"
91

"Livin' 2 Die"
Emancipation era track

"Loving You (...Loving Yet... rock number - status quo esque lol )"
I think you mean 'Hard To Get' (from The Rebels sessions)

"Parlor Games, Penetration, Rootzie Kazootie, R U Legal Yet, Dopamine Rush... (1988 or 1990s? For '24' right? Was it released?)"
1993-1994. From the unreleased second '24' Madhouse album.

"The P"
Symbol era track

"Stone"
Emancipation era track

"Holy River Instrumental"
2000 NPGMC download

"Question Of U Instrumental"
Graffiti Bridge era track

"Thieves In The Temple acoustic guitar"
Graffiti Bridge era track

"Witness 4 The Prosecution - Rough guitar rock one and bouncy version"
From the Dream Factory sessions. The later "bouncy" version likely from October 1986.

"We Can Funk - Heavy gritty one and bouncy version"
1986. The later "bouncy" version likely from 1990-1991.

"Wonderful Ass - long intro one 9 mins + and 6 mins shorter version"
Both are Dream Factory era leftovers, although never intended for said project.

Hope that helps.
