Ona couple of David Bowie fanforums there's a rumour going around Prince is starting a lawsuit against Bowie. Rumour has it bowie's song 'new killer star' was a recording by prince stolen from his vault . I have no idea where they get this. Appearantly bbc reported this but I can't find anything refering to this on their site

new killer star has no resemblance to a prince song whatsoever, and bowie's talked at great length in interviews as to how the song was written and what it's about. though i hear prince is suing courtney love for stealing the phrase "america's sweetheart".

I both respect them very much as musician. It's like when you see your parents fighting over nothing...

not to worry folks, this is 1,000% unsubstantiated rumor. i haven't seen or heard anything about this anywhere else but on this thread, and i'm almost as big of a bowie freak as i am a prince geek so i'd like to think i'd hear about this kinda mess one way or another....and i haven't, not at all, no siree.
