I just ordered 7 Prince video collections off of this used CD/VHS website and I don't know what to expect from them. I'm a youngin' and have never seen any old Prince concerts; just saw my first one last Saturday in Bossier City, LA. Can my more knowledgeable Prince fams give me some ideas and thoughts on 5 of these seven videos, so I know whether to be excited about my "date with Prince" next weekend? It would be very appreciated. Here they are:

1.) Sign O' The Times
2.) Prince and The Revolution Live
3.) The Hits video collection
4.) Rave Un2 The Year 2000
5.) 3 Chains O' Gold

The other two are the "Diamonds and Pearls video collection" and "Purple Rain", which I've seen already. I got all 7 of them for $37.87 on secondspin.com. It's got some pretty good stuff.

Sit back and fasten yo seat belt, you going for a heluva ride! Get ready cause school will be in for you!

All I would recommend is to watch them in chronological order for the first viewing.

I was at the Bossier City concert last week! I'm from Mississippi and we drove to Bossier City to see the show. Wasn't that a good show! I didn't see an empty seat in the arena. It was hot as hell in the arena though. And what's up with that elbow to elbow congestion in the lobby afterwards? Were the doors locked or what? It took us two hours to get out of the parkng lot until we finally drove over the grass to get to the street. I asked around all night about an aftershow but no one knew. And I cannot see that little flyer about "The G Spot" club with no cover charge being the official afterparty. We went back to the hotel. If it was the aftershow I'm going to be mad as hell!

I didn't even hear anything about an afterparty. I loved the show! I did a review of it in the "Concerts" section. If his older shows were better than this one, than I'm upset that I missed them. I have to go to another one.

Just saw the "Prince and The Revolution Live" video.... I got a little excited when I realized that he was wearing lacy, see-through pants and a thong. Not to mention that he humps everything on the stage. Man, I miss old Prince.
