PrintableI don't know what to tell you to listen to, but DON'T listen to Condition of the Heart or Sometimes it Snows in April unless you want to sit around the house crying all day, and equating the break up with this songs forever more. That's some depressing stuff.

Sounds like you need some stuff to turn up and forget (and not dwell):
"Thieves In the Temple" 
"Hide the Bone" 
"Electric Chair" 
If you want something heavier to really crank up and forget I'd check out some Nine Inch Nails-especially anything off the "Broken" album. 
Anything that makes you feel good-Sly and the Family Stone, Tower of Power, and my favorite Nina Simone song-"I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to Be Free"-never fails to make me smile-headphones do wonders. Funkier and louder the better.  | |
