I saw Jersey Girl yesterday and I don't know why Prince walked out because of the swearing. Prince knows that Kevin Smith uses a lot of bad language in his movies and went to see the film anyway. And Jersey Girl has less swear words in it than any other Kevin Smith movie. I think he did it to impress his mates at the temple or wherever it is he goes to worship his God.

...to quote Lisa Kudrow in an episode of Friends...
"Hello, kettle? This is the pot...you're black!"
There are worse things in the world than people swearing...and P should know that better than anyone.

Its a fantastic movie. One of my favorites.

The common sense buzz is that Prince seeing the "Latino wife JLO die while giving birth was too much bad memories/trauma for him to storm." So much for the watchtower giving him strength when he can't even weather a good movie.

I don't think even the naive believed the "bad language" story.
