Wow... A picture of a show with a lot of black people in the audience... Impressive...
I could post another picture from the same tour with only white people in the audience, now what does that make your statement? Utter useless bullshit based on nothing...

thanks for the sad, fearful and decrepit last sentence - i cant wait to see that pic youre talking about! please do post it!

if you think its based on nothing then you didnt read the posts that have been written here before saying things like 'did black people like prince's rock guitar songs' and things like that.

There is people who wonder about this? Why?
I don't get it.... a pic with alot of black people in the audience, big deal.
Besides I think soul music blew in the early 80's so if black people tend to lean towards soul music then Prince was really the only cutting edge thing out there at the time.

I know, I know we're gonna get a million postings of other innovative early 80's soul artists...but save it-u know it was all about prince.

Your pic doesn't have shit to do with the issues you rise and the statement you made in your topic...

Where's that "core black audience" now?

look, your royal obnoxiousness, the point was that some people dont like the idea of prince having a core black audience. they like the idea of prince never being accepted by the black community. i was just trying to readdress that.

It's a good thing I understand you are trying to make a point because I would have to definitely respond to that shit!!!

Look bitch boy, saying I'm scared of Prince playing an black audience is pretty dumbass of you and your intrepid shallow mind since I'm black myself... So go sit down somewhere and mindboggle while grownups talk...

i dont care if youre black. if so, though, your pompous responses to this topic make you seem like even more of a public lice.

i wrote one line in my lead post and it sparked off all types of angry reactions from you - you must be an idiot. i cant help it if the topic of race makes you so uncomfortable.

Well, since Prince is, himself, the result of a bi-racial union, it would make sense that his audience (fan base) be the same to me. Good music does not discriminate against age, race, sex, or religion. It is a part of one's soul, and that's colorless, ageless, asexual, and believes that only one God is needed to control life. My soul says Prince could be purple with blue spots, but that man can still make an audience stand up and feel the funk, no matter what race they may be. Nothing else should matter.

Look moron, I'm not angry, unlike you who couldn't go on with a discussion so fell back to petty insults, fucking child (since this is probably the only way to get throug to you)...
I just find it hilarious that idiots like yourself always feel the need to prove people wrong when it comes to race issues in "Princefandom" (for lack of a better word) and then come up with the most retarded "proof" to make a point... It just makes you look like a fucking retard...

Prince is not from a bi-racial union..... Damn!!! His mother was a sista and his father was a brutha!!! They were just light-skinned..... Unbelievable.....

HAHA. youre the one that resorted to expletives right from your first post. stop with the 'im so innocent' revisionism. i was fine with discussing my point clearly and factually but you just got your knickers in such a twist you didnt know what to do with yourself.

once again though, the topic of race and prince clearly makes you feel uneasy.

Sorry, but I've read in more than one place that his mother was bi-racial. Kindly direct me to a site that directly says that she was 100% black and you've made a point.

Keep believing that... I'm not the one who made this topic and felt the need to defend a race because someone probably ticked 'em off by saying Prince had no "core black audience"...
And I didn't insult you in my first post I just pointed out that your statement held absolutely no relevance to the pic, unlike you who felt the need to insult me... But see whatever you like...
