So I have come to this conclusion...... I think Prince's version of "Nothing Compares 2 U" is the best. I've heard his live versions of the song many times, and to me it's his version that does the most justice. I mean, Sinead's and The Family's version is cool too, but Prince makes it sound great.

I can't agree with that. I prefer princes version. I was suprised when one of my mates mentioned in the pub, that his dad had been playing Nothing compares 2 U by prince. He couldn't get over how good it was-this guy isn't even bothered about prince! I know people say the video is relly emotional-and sure it is a good video, but i feel that the song has more feeling in the duet with Rosie. | |

I've never seen the video, but I say Prince's version is a whole lot better. I don't like the way Sinead sings it. I dunno, I'm just not a fan. But Prince's version is one of the best songs ever IMHO. I reject your reality and substitute my own.

I agree P's version with Rosie live kicks ass. I was just listening to it the other night and I love that version. Sinead's is ok but his takes the cake! Did you order a pizza ma'am? Prince- UTCM | |
