This is like comparing Batdance to Sometimes It Snows In April., However me being a Psychedelic type of person Im going to have to go with Lovesexy (the song).

I'm not sure how these two songs reminded you of one another, but...
Unless you are really into the politics of Dear Mr. Man, Lovesexy blows it away. Lovesexy is a classic, creative, exciting song, where Dear Mr. Man is mildy funky. I suppose if they were both being performed on just an acoustic guitar it might be a closer match, but the recordings of the two songs favors Lovesexy by a mile. Check this song out at:

Dear Mr.Man wins my vote , purely cos Lovesexy is a weak song so most of Prince's tracks I'd place higher than it. Check out Chocadelica , updated with Lotusflow3r and MPLSound album lyrics April 2nd 2009 :
