MUSICOLOGY TOUR- hit or miss ? okay i've been debating myself if i should go to the musicology show or not. Yeah I know Prince says it'll be his last time performing all of his hits, but y'all know that's a lie. I think even if he does new material, he'll sneak a goodie but oldie in there somwhere.Remember when Prince said he wasn't gonna sing purple rain anymore ? then on the grammy of 2004, what did he sing ? I keep have chances to go, but still putting it off. both shows soled out, then there was a third show added. I'm okay I need to go since there was a third show added, but see I want to go cuz I want to not just cuz I want to out of fear I may not ever hear I wanna be ur lover performed again, what y'all think ? hit or miss show ?

There's no reason to even ask this question! If you're able to go, go!
Go! Go! Go! I agree that all the talk about "the last time the hits will be played" is a bunch of baloney but I don't think you should base your decision on that. You should go because you want to see the man perform & give you one hell of a show (which I'm sure he will).

i felt quite a few emotions after the show, as most people do im sure, but one of them was a certain sadness, because in my mind, we will NEVER see a show as good as musicology tour was. it was a moment when all was perfect, and the music was tight, the band was so connected, and prince himself was having so much fun !!!! if i could go again, i would in a heartbeat. the show is a must see in my opinion. dont waste time thinkin about it, just go !!! One of the best days of my life... http://prince.org/msg/100/291111
love is a gift an artist with no fans is really just a man with a hobby....

I don't understand your dilemma . If you want to go and you have the chance, then do so. If you aren't interested, then don't go.

Definitely go , he's playing some unusual but great choices of songs live, any show with DMSR
and Controversy played live has to be a must-see ,and the acoustic set always pleases. Check out Chocadelica , updated with Lotusflow3r and MPLSound album lyrics April 2nd 2009 :
