I think the success of Prince in 2004 on TV ,Album Sales & Tour BROUGHT OUT all the true feelings of these "in the closet" people who were hiding on this board.

What gives it away is "The Views" on certain Topics NOT posts, but VIEWS

90% of The Org. were in this closet but have shown their true colors

i don't think this thread was started about people who simply dislike some of the things P does, i think it's about the incessant complaining and whining going on anytime P does anything. its about the people who can find the least little things and turn them into big issues. there are some haters on here who can't find anything positive to say. then they turn around and hate on those who don't want to be negative. yet they still come to this place named prince.org which is fine, but it seems as if they are going out of their way to hate not just state their dislikes but to shoot venom constantly. hey, if u feel all of P's output is trash since the mid 90's that's fine but why show up everyday to state the same thing? Say it and then move on.

Dude I have been saying this for sometime now. This is not a fansite it is a haters site. There is always a little good will around here when Prince drops a new project or starts a tour but then you give it a few weeks and it starts up again with the negative. This place can be a real bummer if you are a Prince fan but I try to spread a little positivity when I can around here. It is a loosing battle I fear but I try anyway.

It's true, I've noticed the same thing as you, they're saying this site is full of 'a bunch of whiners' and I totally AGREE. If it were up to Prince with some of these fans, he wouldn't be making any music...thank GOD he STILL is!

It's a forum, the good, bad, and the ugly will always show their faces. It's not really a Prince issue, it's more human nature. I've met people that look at everything positively, people who look at everything negatively, and people who will complain no matter what good or bad thing befalls them.

Personally, I try to remain fair in my opinions. I'm not here to judge the other people on the forum, but to discuss and learn more about Prince and his music.
