Help! To all those people who have been to the first celebration at Paisley park. I think it was in year 2000. The last day of the celebration, before concert, there was a Prince concert played on screen inside Paisly park. It was a tour from around when the "love sign" album was release, because the show started with My name is Prince and Sexy MF songs. At the end, he was playing a song, which was a mixture of It´s gonna be beautiful night and America. Does anyone know if you can get this concert somewhere, cause I just loved it, especally that song and would love to hear it again. I think he was playing a bass quitar during that song. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all." | |

If I remember correctly it was the Act 1 tour in Sheffield England (although it may have been called act 2 by that point!)
Butt I think there is a 3 disc set...nasty boy? sorry i dont know the title but it was one of the first performances of Sometimes it Snows in a few years! good luck

It's never been officially released. I'm pretty sure you are describing the Sheffield concert of either August 1st or 2nd, 1993- that was shown the evening you were describing. I was at the 2000 Celebration and I remember the viewing of that video/laserdisc/dvd... I just remember "The Beautiful Ones" was cool to see and hear. As far as I know, that was from his own personal collection.
And now that I have the Lovesexy show on DVD transferred from the LD, he was showing that on Lovesexy night. I just remember thinking how incredibly clear it was and I wanted it. Lovesexy Funkateer | |
