Cocteau Twins Rip-off For those of you who know the Cocteau Twins. Listen to 50/50 Clown from the Heaven or Las Vegas album (1990). Prince totally nicked the intro for Love..thy will be done. I remember him saying in interviews in 1990 that he loved the twins.
Let's not forget the Cocteau Twins tribute: SOLO Green virgin teenager, or filthy rich yuppy. Pussy cat pussy cat, where for out thou puppy

Well, I'm not sure which Cocteau Twins song on which album either Heavan or Las Vegas or Blue Bell Knoll but the intro on this particular song is exactly the same as the intro of Prince's "Pop Life".And that song came out in 1985.So I guess they're both even.

I think the Cocteau Twins' "Ivo" could have been a strong influence on "Christopher Tracy's Parade." Prince funked his song up with horns and stuff, but there's a similar grandness to both tracks. Both are also album openers.
