First off, this is not one of those "vs" threads but i do see some similarities in these tracks.

Firstly, I love them both, especially the lyrics and the fairly poppiness of them.

That's sort of my problem. I dont think the music fits the message.

Taking the subject matter of Cinnamon Girl and putting it in that chorus doesn't feel right. Lightens it up too much.

As with Dolphin the verses are fairly sombre and moody which fit the lyrics well and then the chorus gets all poppy!

Again, great lyrics and great music but the 2 dont mesh well IMHO

Any (related) thoughts?
