Magnificent - Emancipation Outake? The drum sounds have kirky j written all over it in my opinion. What do you guys think?
Oh yeah, since we are paying to dload this stuff, is it too much to ask for npgmc to give us info on the tracks they release? heck even just saying what year it was recorded would be great. Not askin for too much. Peace [This message was edited Thu May 13 15:05:15 2004 by leadline] "You always get the dream that you deserve, from what you value the most" -Prince 2013

You know Prince isn't a big fan of dwelling on the process of making a song - he just likes to deliver the end product and let that be that. Frustrating, but what can ya do....

It is frustrating! I was just thinking..is Prince the most "mysterious" artist out there? I mean he we all are..piecing together tiny bits of info to get a complete picture that's never really complete as Prince says really nothing about the songs. And so, we have folks out there doing research for the Vault and others piecing the lyrics together and still others trying to figure out things like "the Time" bios. Are there other artists who keep the artistry a mystery? Christian Zombie Vampires

To me, it doesn't sound like Kirky J at all.
I'm pretty sure this is from the Rave era because of the general high levels (slightly distorted) in the production which was particular to the Rave songs. . [This message was edited Thu May 13 18:28:23 2004 by mrdespues]

Well, Kirky J had a hand in the drum & computer programming on Rave, so the idea still isn't far-fetched [This message was edited Thu May 13 19:23:12 2004 by psykosoul]
