Awesome ..that puts the 3 week Soundscan total at around 510,000 +. About 350,000 retail and 160,000 "non-traditional".
look for a big drop the next couple weeks though as he get the benefit of 1 show in next week chart and none in week 5.

Damn, why is Usher STILL continuing to sell so much?? His CD is crap, and therefore,it will probably go on to become the biggest-selling CD of 2004
But it's nice to see Prince holding his own among all the younger acts that usually dominate the charts.

The numbers will kick back into gear pretty nicely because those shows are in Cali and Vegas. 21 of the shows are already sold out! Those cds are just waiting to be counted.

I watched Leno the other night to see Usher. Not that I'm a fan, but to see why he's so strong right now (Shaggy, anyone? What happened?).
One, Usher can be a great dancer - his moves last year on Leno on You Got it Bad were utterly flabbergasting. Second, his backup singers have rich, rich voices. Those guys are really outstanding in my limited listens.

I had never bought an Usher album before Confessions nor was I a fan. But this cat is coming into his own now and I give props where props are due. Thank god someone came along and showed that little bitch Justin how this pop shit is done. Bringing Together Five Decades of R&B/Funk/Soul/Dance
