I Wonder (Outtake) Anybody have any info on why the ballad "I Wonder" was taken off of the Diamonds and Pearls album (assuming that it was, in fact, an outtake from D&P)? I think it's a great song and have often wondered why in the hell it was pulled. [This message was edited Tue May 11 7:16:51 2004 by Octavius]

It doesn't fit with that album, too minimal! My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid

I WONDER could easily fit on musicology,IMO....some songs don't have a "home".(meaning an album to put it on)...too strong a song to be a throwaway.

that song and "Player". And Me Touch Myself. They almost all sound the same nice melodic songs with light beats on them. Yeah there is just no real 'album' to throw them on with. Maybe B-Sides? hey..they wouldve been great. oh yeah..and Player and I Wonder would definitley fit on Musicology...which is definitley needing something...something is missin in that album. I wonder has great song structure and seemed to be a rough draft, from which he would have greatly expanded with strings, finger cymbals, samples and lots of samples. I love the song, and plan to add it to my band's songlist. The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3
