Oh well this record really won't last long at all afterall At least a very strong video would help push cinnamon girl..but A Million Days is so bland its not even funny. Its the only song I haven't even listend to in its so weak I understand wantig to get on PoP radio and all but this song is really weak Maroon 5 Incubus and others are doing this type of song so much strogner than this effort from P. I wish him luck with it though [This message was edited Mon May 3 14:02:49 2004 by Alexandernvrmind] ----- I 'll be back in a month or two to tell you how wrong you are. This is a great song. Should get a lot play on pop radio. They should send one of the ballads to RnB radio at the same time.

Agreed! I am shocked...SHOCKED by the wise business decisions the man is making during this "comeback." Does he have a manager now or something? Maybe Londell is advising? SOMETHING has changed...

Check the properties of the above pic, the url is: http://www.djjfive.com/aapmd.jpg. I guess it's possible jfive actually got the pic from allaccess.com and included on a site he's (she's?) affiliated with, but I'd assume it's phony. Time will tell.

I have my doubts too, what with Columbia's logo displayed so prominently when the album has the NPG logo? Unless that's just due to late signing to Columbia.

I Liked Call My Name a lot better. I don't think this one will make it as far. And I thought he liked Call My Name. That what he said on his radio interview on K104 in Tx. Touch It!!!!!

I think Cinnamon Girl should be the next release. It's an upbeat, funky song. I've listened to it over and over.

I forgot to add that this is a RnB radio station in Dallas. I also think these will do well on some RnB stations 2. Marrying Kind, The 3. If Eye Was The Man In Ur Life 4. Dear Mr. Man 5. What Do U Want Me 2 Do? 6. On The Couch or Million Days, A Tell me what you think? Touch It!!!!!

Why not Life O the Party also? I love such sarcasm!! "Just like the sun, the Rainbow Children rise."

I always wondered if Prince was choosing the singles? Does the artist usually decide or is it the label? I think he chooses them at random...seriously, A Million Days sounds so dated for a Prince song...it's so 90s...reminds me of 3 Chains Of Gold...and that was a better song!! "Just like the sun, the Rainbow Children rise."

Perfect second single !
I'm glad he finally listened 2 me. Musicology is an excellent opening single that has done well to start the promotion of the CD. A Million Days is pure Prince ! It's perfect pop rock for radio. This backed with a great video will do very well. I just can't believe all the things people say !

"A Million Days" will rock out if it has a kick ass video. Im talking about something really groundbreaking and memorable, something worthy of an Mtv VMA nomination.

Although it's not the complex classic Prince that we hardcores like, A Million Days is probably the best choice. Now that all eyes and ears are on Prince, a simple song with the ideal radio format and a catchy hook is the right choice. He needs the right song that will push this CD... Oh hell fucking yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! This song's fantastic, it was the right choice. I have no doubts about that at all. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

YEAH! "A Million Days" is the best radio-friendly pop song Prince has released in YEARS and by far the best single on the new album!! When I first heard it, I was blown away. It's gonna be huge folks (I hope).

God keeps on answering prayer. I was hoping that this song would be a single and it looks like that will happen. It's my favorite song on the CD and it WILL be a BIG hit. I firmly believe that. It's catchy and easy to sing along to. Finally, a great single choice! I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Wow, there's so many who hate this song.
I thought it was very good. A good choice for the next single. But I miss his 'dirty' days... he is all too loving and decent nowawadays.

I THINK THIS MAY BE MADE UP...
the same post WAS at NPGMC, but is now gone... curious, ehh? also... like i said, the ad has an r&b station here in houston listed. i personally know certain folks over there, and i don't see them pushing this song in their rotation. nothing against the tune, it's very cool. however, it DON'T fit that format... PERIOD!

hey i don't care as long as it isn't "life o' the party" or "cinnamon girl". any song for a single except for those two is good. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

skywalker said: If "Little Red Corvette" and "Dolphin" met on the album and had a baby it would sound like "A Million Days". An excellent choice for a single. This song is being given the chance that "So Far, So pleased" should have been given.
I could not agree with you more, so far so pleased would have been a break out hit for certain. A Million Days is an incredible choice, if they shoot a video for this one it will definitely be a top 10 single (If and only if Columbia's payola mafia is in full swing) I really think Prince's people must have been monitoring online chatter because it is the overwhelming favorite on the org, npgmc and housequake. 1 over Jordan...the greatest since

bad choice. no hook . can't sing along with it. sappy and overdramatic. belongs on the sountrack of a b-grade movie. Cinnamon Girl, Call My Name, or Illusion would have been better choices. [This message was edited Mon May 3 23:53:49 2004 by chrisslope9]
