Animal Kingdom and Arms Of Orion deserve their place...the rest of the
bottom ten sounds like PARTY ANTHEMS!

Now - let's not lose control. Y'all know Jughead is the song least listened too or liked off of Diamonds and Pearls. You know what I'm really surprised not to see on this list from the poll:

Mr Happy.

Now - I love Prince like a play cousin. But I tell you what - I'm not happy when that song is almost played.

"Tick Tick Bang" is a personal fav.
"I Rock Therefore I Am" ain't that bad.
and "Graffiti Bridge" is a pretty cool song, for what it is.

Honestly, da song has a funky-ass percussion beat goin through it and a whole lotta attitude, and although when i first heard the first bit i kinda thought "oh no...is this gonna just sound like an early nineties kinda song.." when it progressed i was like hey i wanna shake my aint nuffin wrong wif dat song it's fun

"Right the Wrong" is far, far worse...I just make sure I fade out the song long before that butt-aweful rap ever has a chance of starting.

Pretty bad...definately one of the worst...but at least he was tryin'...here's a cybersingle for the recycle bin: "Golden Parachute"...all five and half minutes of it.

8. TICK, TICK BANG

I love this song, though the production is terrible...let's talk about "The Latest Fashion"..."Go, Morris! Go, Morris!"

7. WE GETS UP

Should be #1 on the list. This song is bad enough to discredit not one, but all three cd's

6. POOM POOM

I will proudly admit to LOVING this song...I offer "18 & Over" in it's place

5. THE ARMS OF ORION

I can see why people hate this one...cheesey on a celestial level...I can also see why they love it...he and Sheena sound great together. If you really want to complain about a syrupy ballad...let's talk about "Sweet Baby"...that song goes nowhere.

4. ANIMAL KINGDOM

"No funky, funky blue cheese" gets me every time..."Man in a Uniform" on the other hand is just useless. I say put'm both on b-sides and The Truth would have potential for greatness.

3. LIFE O THE PARTY

If you tell me that it breaks the flow of the album then I'd say you have a point...but as far as his self-involved party pieces go it's actually quite good...he's done much, much worse...damn, I can't get "We Gets Up" out of my head.

2. GRAFFITI BRIDGE

This is a standard with the Stepford Wives' Glee-club. They sing it at every show. So SOMEONE likes it.

I don't mind "Jughead" but I will step aside for this one out of respect for anyone who was horrified when Prince embraced hip-hop. I didn't truly understand how you felt until I heard that gangsta-synth on Emancipation. I would say that "White Mansion" or "Mr. Happy" are far more frustrating...or...damn, now I'm thinking about "We Gets Up" again.

Let's just say this...any song Prince ever had that involved Prince,Tony, or Rosie(LORD!)rapping is just horrible...whoever told him that ish was ok...I love hip hop,but Prince and hip hop just don't mix...uuggghhh!!!!!

I understand everyone has differing tastes, but The Latest Fashion and Funky Music are so painfully bad to me I can't believe they're not universally despised. Just thinking about them is making me ill, I'm going to have to throw in "Joy In Repetition", "If I Was Your Girlfriend", or "The Exodus Has Begun" just to head off the nausea...

Try to get rid of Sheetah Easton's voice on Arms Of Orion, It should've had Boni Boyer on it.
I think it's a pretty ok R'nB ballad, too honey for me though, but i like the end orchestration of it - typical Prince. And it's the only song in it's kind he's done like that: 'Prince going mainstream radioshit' on this track - in the line of Shitney Houston and Mariah Scary.


If i don't like a song on the any Prince album, or realy hate it, i make my own copy, and try to make at least a sort of seque out of the intros and outros... or just leave it off.
