"Larry Graham hallowed be thy name" - from Days Of Wild live in 1994 Never been able to make out all the words on this rap transition between Days Of Wild and Hair, but this part is clear. And it's from a few years before he even met Larry. Interestingly, it's a rap he only used in the biggest Tourettes-infused era of his career. Perhaps Larry talked him out of it later on. Man, Hair sounded good with that song, though - I'd love him to play it like that again, even without the cussing.

Well, he was HEAVILY influenced by Sly and the Family Stone...not to mention Larry's VERY impressionable SLAP BASS technique. I think Prince once sang ONE IN A MILLION to Mayte at Paisley Park....NOT!! I think Larry will be back again on the next album coming soon since the fad of Musicology has worn off and maybe he can fill all those empty seats at the shows. Cured of him of Tourettes did he? Move over Rhonda.
