This brings up something I've been wondering about "The Marrying Kind/If Eye Was the Man In Ur Life": who's the subject? They're both being sung to a woman he wants in his life but doesn't have yet, one he's hoping to lure away from a man who doesn't give her the respect she deserves. He's been with Mani for a few years, and given what I've read about her I doubt he had to lure away from anyone. So, who then?

It's hard to listen to Emancipation Disc 2 now that Prince and Mayte are divorced, especially "Savior"...what a load of bullshit :*)...but I loved it at the time. In my humble opinion I really feel like the quality of music, lyrically and instrumentally, was a lot higher on those tracks than Musicology and Rainbow Children.

Though I doubt they'd get a divorce, at least not anytime in the near future, only thing they can do is lay the ground work for the future.
