Remember that weird spinning gyroscope thingie that....... ....his mid-90's keyboarding Kip something used to have behind his keyboard unit???? WHat the hell was that thing??? Anyone hear know??? I've always been vexed by that thing?? DOes it do anything? Help sound in some way????? | |

That was actually a Lesley speaker. It was in a clear plexiglass casing so you can see the components spinning. | |

Yup, it's a Leslie. The speaker horn is rotated by a motor driven belt, for that old-school back-and-forth echo effect. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
