Rave Un2 - UK Hey Y'all.
Were any singles released off Rave in the UK. If not, does anyone have any info as to why his Royal Badness was on Top of the pops at the time promoting? | |

The Greatest Romance Ever Sold was released three months after the album (Feb 2000). It peaked at no. 65. | |

His UK TV Performances at the time were:
Nov 99 TFI Friday - Baby Knows Top of the Pops - Baby Knows The Apocalypse Tube (hosted by Chris Moyles and Donna Air) - Baby Knows, The Greatest Romance (I believe this one was lip-synched) It was around this time that Robbie Williams' crew fell out with Prince's, so the story goes. Apparently Prince demanded several dressing rooms on TOTP, leaving Robbie (who was #1 in the charts) with just one. When they both played the Tube, Robbie's crew went around wearing T-shirts saying something along the lines of 'The Artist Formerly Known as Twat'. Feb 00 TFI Friday - Prettyman (recorded in Nov 99, same show as Baby Knows), screened to coincide with the release of the single Single The Greatest Romance was released Feb 14 00, hitting #65, 1 week in the chart On the pre-release airplay chart it spent 2 weeks at #9 Rave album was released in Nov 99, made ineligible for the charts by giveaway at a London record store ManOWar was planned for release and promo copies were printed, but Prince lost interest in the project |
