I just watched the BET speical... wow, Prince is firing on all cylinders! I loved the accoustic set. He did his own songs superbly but the perofrmance of 'Sweet thing' really showed, to the television audience, how in command of his show he is! Again, I wasn't crazy about "musicology' but he kicked a** with 'Dr. Mr. Man'. I wish he picked up the electric guitar for a furious solo though!


I think he just got another zillion people interested in his stuff once again! How can he top this? The momentum continues!

He also sounds so down to earth during the interviews although he initially BS'd the interviewer when aasked why he didn't play 'head' anymore. I remember very clearly 'how' he and Cat performed that song during the lovesexy tour!!!::::)) hahaha! He wasn't thinking about no 13 year old then! He recoverd though when he explained that he's older and more responsible now! Agreed.

He's go to do more cuts of this album - cinamon girl, a million days and call my name have got to be played somewhere.

Yeah, I was surprised how good Dear Mr. Man sounded. It went over better than expected...

He's got to keep plugging this album to continue sales...something he's not
used to doing. He's bored easily and I'm afraid he's gonna move onto something
else soon. The majority of his sales will come now from his concert giveaways.
One thing that he can count on though, is WORD OF MOUTH...people love this
album and won't be afraid to play it for their friends or recommend it.

Anybody know if they're repeating the BET show?? I was taping the one on MTV and missed this one...

I flipped back and forth between VH-1 and MTV...they seemed exactly the same to me...was BET also the same, or was it different?
