Is it just me, or has all the true real music lovers slowly exited this site? Wait don't get me wrong, I'm as happy as can be for Prince and his regenerated public attention, but I like to witness great music in a intimate setting, not 30,000 arena. That setting is for mass appeal, mass profit, low on quality sound.
It appears to me that many orgers on this site have no ear for good music. Otherwise why start forums for Brittney Spears, Janet Jackson, American Idol, Justin Timberlake and the like? What good music lover would even care about those "made" stars? What lover of good music would even be concerned about anyother thing about a artist other than his/her's music? Why should I care about Prince's love life, sex life, use of toothpaste? What has that got to do with what made Prince Prince, his music?
I now have to seriously search for a interesting forum topic. How 'bout you?

things haven't changed around here. people have always talked about prince's package and his toothpaste and his hair and blah blah blah. people also talk about his records and style of playing and genres and all that happy stuff too. and please, spare me the whole real music by real musicians banter. leave that for the club please.

the org has always been a lighthearted place. if you want deep conversation here, you can pop on by the politics and religion forum. if you wanna discuss real musicians, create a thread of your own about it and stop whinging about thos created by others.
