The masses missed 'Princes' sound, its a comeback on his terms.

Wow , can you all believe we are actually taking bets on him being number 1 in the billboard charts!, strange but true. How life changes. This comeback proves once and for all that despite 2 attempted 'comebacks' i.e. Rave and 'emancipation' which both compromised heavily on sound and chased trends the masses just wanted the classic Prince sound back. Thats what he's delivered and its paid off big style. Whilst I still think its a non essential cd for hard core fans i am really enjoying listening to it. Can you imagine how satisfied Prince must be feeling, it looks like he did the cd without a record companies input and touted it around and look at the result!. I truely hope that all the regular hard core critics on here can raise the smallest of smiles at his success rather than looking to pick holes.

The world seems to have done a 180 on Prince. I have people who've dogged Prince or thought his "glory days" were done, want to hear Musicology. And you got so many reports of the album being sold out at the record store. You can't get any better than this.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

As much as I agree..it's not the NEW music that people are wanting to hear. This album should have been so much better. Some of the songs are so badly affected by bad production.
Prince has comeback, on his terms, and it's great. He can rest assured that his legacy will be remembered forever now. Let's just hope that the next album is a monster!
