So what does Prince think about todays artists I've always wanted to know what the hell Prince thinks of todays artists like Alicia Keys, Britney Spears, and all those other pop tarts. I can't imagine it's anything swell. LOL.

he probably pukes over the majority of them. he's given props 2 a small handful of the nu-skool folks, like alicia keys and all them, but 4 the most part i think he pretty much pays them no mind. they'll do their thing, and he does his.  | |

I think he digs any band/person who can actually play and has his or her own style.

Ditto on thinking he probably respects anyone who can actually write their own music. Does this mean he'll have MJ over for dinner now? SIKE!

I think he laughs at WHO get record contracts.. and the "media" hype on such crap!
* I heard him say on RAVE interview: " everyone talks about "the greatest ever".. well lets just all get on stage".." an find out" * on BET Live: " I have NO view on "sampling".. because I don't sample.. my mic is on" so I feel he laughs at these NO Talents...lip sync/pop/dance acts | |
