PRINCE IS PLAYING REAL DRUMS AGAIN! I didn't realise, but Prince handles the LIVE drums on the following tracks:
A Million Days Call My Name Cinnamon Girl Reflection Congrats Prince - on top of everything else, you're still a great drummer!

Be careful about thinking that, I read somewhere that Morris Day and Bobby Z go uncredited as the drummers on the first two Prince LP's. I bet Prince can play the parts, but maybe it would take a few more takes for Prince to record them. ______________________________________________

Actually, having studied his drumming, I can tell that it's him...he has a very loose style, with fairly simple fills (a lot of snare) and is heavy on the high hat.

Do you agree that it doesn't really sound like him on "For You" and "Prince"?? It's a little too slick on some of the tracks for it to be him IMO. ______________________________________________

It's definitely Prince, listen to Crystal Ball, his drumming is tight on that one....I don't understand why so many people think Prince isn't a good drummer. Sure, Sheila, Michael and John are better, but Prince is a very good drummer.

He may do, but to me it sounds like he cut up someone's drumming on a computer...it may be his, it may not...either way it's a cutup sample.

I do agree that Prince is a good drummer. Of course there are better, but give credit where it is due.

WHY THE HELL WHEN PRINCE PLAYS DRUM OR GUITAR IT LOOKS EFFORTLESS... WHEN I PLAY IT LOOKS LIKE I'M STRUGGLING TO PLAY ONE CHORD. LOL
