well, i prefer to live my own life. and i don't consider me a rabid fan like that. i never even drove by his house in all the time i lived here.

but i spend more time at this site than over at bowie's site and i actually do feel somewhat vindicated in being a fan all these years because of the current wave of 'oh wow! remember prince? he's back!' so i guess .. .. i'm a fan. NOT a fam, a fan

Here's the deal w/ me: I think about Prince WAY too much, I play the music all the time (usually @ some point everyday), I come HERE daily or at least weekly for God's sake & I'm constantly monitoring for news of a concert or new music or some fine ass pic of him that I can use for my compilations & general creaming/panty checks.

People tell me things about Prince & I'm like, "yea, I know" or I try to act like I don't know EVERYTHING already just to seem normal. They bring me articles & shit & I'm thinking, "dude, I read this on the Org already!" but I front like I've been meaning to read it. It's an addiction I admit to (happily) via concerts & music, but I certainly try to hide my dependence on website info & the overall severity of my addiction (finding myself here posting when I have just a few hours to sleep before work, knowing that I'm officially a web geek & consider myself part of an online community , fighting the urge to say something, anything about him to folks outside the Org)... Damn, this stuff should be on the "if Prince was a drug" thread

No, cuz I'm proud and refused to acknowledge how excited I was. The day after, one of my best friend came to my desk and smiled, expecting me to go Oh Ha!... and I just asked him what he wanted in my usual gruff manner.
