Oh ma gaaawwwwd!!! The DJ over at Capital FM (UK) just said this:

"We've got "Call my Name" from Prince's new album, Musicology, coming up very soon - oh my gaawd that album is good! Over here at Capital FM its our Album of the Year, forget album of the week. If you like funk, r&b, or even soul - buy this album it's awesome 5 stars."

And as I type this, the DJ just said this:

"You've been requesting information on R&B clubs recently and all I can say is forget clubs, buy Musicology - it's a club for your ears, sorry to keep going on about it but it is just that good."

- Prince is gonna hit the UK bigtime when he tours, that's fo shizzle.

And its only April!!!

Capital FM sponsor Party In The Park & this year it's on either July 4 or July 11 (they haven't decided yet), it's an 8 hour concert with 100,000 spectators.
Wouldn't it great if he came over to perform a few tracks (Most artists perform about 3 tracks).
Last year Beyonce was headliner, Shania was there and loads more to fit into 8 hours.
I had an e-mail from Capital FM today to say prepare for the announcement of Party In The Park e.g. (dates, times, performers: which always gets added to)
Maybe they've struck a deal with Sony/Prince to refer Musicology the Album Of The Year etc, so he will perform.


Just my hopeful thoughts.

Have 2 say, when Ive been in London, (and especially when He's over doing His thang) Capitol FM have always supported Prince 2 the fullest utmostest

any worthwhile clubs in/near the oxford area? i'm going to be over there early may through end of june, and will definitely need a break; it would be cool if there were some hot spots with a cool vibe and, of course, some prince music.

the fact that Capital FM are sponsoring his upcoming UK tour could have something to do with it...
