Honestly guys our little man prince has done the almost impossible... to totally did a 180 on his career. let's recap

1. lastyear this time we were hearing rumors about prince doing a American Tour after he finished dates abroad and those we're being looked at as the "warm up tour"

2. then we started hearing about a video shoot going on and they needed dancer and little boy that looked like prince when he was younger, as we all know now, that turned out to be the great musicology vid,

3. then prince is getting great press in austrailia and hawaii on the "warm up tour" and there are still persistant rumors of him doing a Major Stateside run

4. we hear Warner's is releasing a Purple Rain DVD special edition

5. we hear buzzing that prince is gonna do the grammy this year, and it's confirmed! and boy did he steal the show...i mean he stole the fucking show!!!!

6. he did the after party run, press lines, NY & L.A. press was all abuzz about princes' performance and how he was in L.A. putting finishing touches on a new album.

7. prince @ the oscars

8. prince on Leno

9. prince says he's goin' on a world tour and releasing a new ablum!!!

10. prince on tavis smiley with fucking WENDY!!!

11. the prince press conference where he say's he gonna get this album on a major....no one really believed it even myself, even though the industry was buzzing

12. NPG/Columbia is gonna release the album, but it will be on NPGMC.com first....

a little side note: i must say this is the first time prince has truly kept all of his promises..he came through ya'll!!

13. R&R HOF he toar the roof off....

14. the after-show @ Black...he again toar the roof off with Lenny Kravitz, Outkast, Chris Rock , Alicia Keys and many press and industry peeps in the house

the tour selling ticketes very very well, and being put together by a third party (smart prince, smart!!)

15. and now the onslaught on Media, MTV, BET, VH1 and other news and magazine outlets picking up on prince.... this is truly his time once again!


let me just predict alittle here.....

i say prince will be @ the MTV Video Music Awards this year performing and getting an award

i also think prince will be nominated for multiple grammy's and it will all come full circle when he wins album of the year for Musicology.... now being honest, musicology is NOT his best album ever, but right now... it's about paying respects to the man that everyone almost forgot about....

there may be somethings leftout but overall..... we were all warned that prince was coming back this year!!!!

It IS very impressive

I've always said: I don't care much if Prince is in the media, or if his albums do well, or anything like that. It's all about the music, and if it's good it's good...

but this is all so exciting!!

this is a great year to be a prince fan.

Too bad Musicology sucks. He could have had a perfect comeback.

He's also released some fantastic bootlegs this year aswell.
