i cant understand why people are dismissing the fact that Prince is the best musician in the world - maybe ever. he practically plays all the instruments on musicology. i havent seen one review that takes this into account. the drums on musicology and a million days - shit. the guitar work on cinnamon girl and illusion.. - shit. the bass on what do u want me and call my name - my god. nobody from the public will realise this when watching the video for musicology beacause it has the whole band on stage with him. i just wish that more people knew about his genius as a musician. if i disregarded his entire catalogue i would still be able to be proud of the fact that as far a musicians go - u cant touch him. am i the only one who gets frustrated by this?

Yeah I agree, I wish he made a video in wich he played all the instruments, and also did all the backing vocals ! Technically it's possible (outkasts did it ) maybe it would even be more interesting if they filmed something like this in PP where you could see him produce it as well.

I wonder why he never did that, guess he gives a rat's ass about people not regognising his talent ! (Which I can understand)

Does anyone else think that some of the bass playing on this album sounds suspiciously like Larry Graham? Listen to Call My Name.

If they had done the Outkast thing, people would have thought he was ripping Andre 3000 out..

And if they just had clips of him playing each instrument individually, well, that just sounds like a very lonely looking video for such a funky song.
