Rate these Prince-CD-Booklets

I start with "Diamonds And Pearls", because that was the first CD to actually have a good booklet (before that, the main focus was on the vinyl-editions).

Diamonds & Pearls star star star
prince star star star star
The Hits/The B-Sides (3-CD-Box) star star star star star
Come star
Chaos & Disorder disbelief
The Gold Experience star star star
Emancipation (CD-booklet, not the lyric-book) star star
New Power Soul star star star star
The Vault...Old Friends 4 Sale star
Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic star star star
The Rainbow Children star star star
One Nite Alone...Live! (the book in the boxset) star star star star

I agree with you 100% except I think ONA Live and Musicology deserve no more than 2 stars each.

The NPS-booklet ist just FUNKY and reminds me a lot of the old Parliament records. It´s perfect! (And Prince looks great on the cover)

the font is awful and it all looks very cheap. The pictures are good, but not as artwork. I love the "Sacrifice Of Victor"-book, though

I can play this...

Diamonds & Pearls starstarstar (well, this one is for the hologram)
prince starstarstarstar (Quite unique actually, nice in a trashy B-flick kind of a way)
The Hits/The B-Sides starstarstarstarstar (it's better than TVBOP anyway)
The Beautiful Experience starstarstar (It was original at the time)
Come starstarstarstar (too dramatic, but very fine)
1-800-NEWFUNK starstar (whaddya mean "dated"?)
Exodus starstarstar (I really loved this when it came out)
The Gold Experience starstar (the font and the "Gold"-logo mess it up for me)
Chaos & Disorder starstar (the photos are "nice" though)
Emancipation star (Some nice photos, but the album cover is one of the most tedious ever)
Crystal Ball star (yeah, right)
New Power Soul star (the drawings are fine, but the cover photo - aaargh!)
The Vault...Old Friends 4 Sale star (Quake anyone?)
Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic starstarstar (I really like the lamb)
The Rainbow Children starstarstarstar (If just for the paintings)
One Nite Alone...Live! starstarstar (not too crass)
N.E.W.S starstarstar (the cover might be somewhat ugly, but it has some honest charm to it)
Musicology starstarstar (the vines, the vines... )

And who's to blame? Steve Parke, for the most part.

Hey, Grafitti bridge had a CD booklet and that ones cool! I like the way p looks in his leather jacket! Also funny pictures of the time and Tevin Campbells cheesy smile whilst dancin pic! Font and layout was colourful too with morris looking into the mirror being a cool picture! The actual cover sucks bigtime though It also has cool pic of George clinton inside as well!

"Symbol" has an odd but cool cover and i like the pic with prince and NPG on the building blocks, very early 90's-Prince looks cool!

"Come" is cool (comes from some book that somebody had already mentioned), the pic of Prince lying dead on the floor is hilarious!

Does "Goldnigga" count? Thats way cool!
