It's coming, it's coming -- just a little bit slower than expected
This is the email they sent to us people who already pre-ordered it:

Hello,

The THE VAULT book will be a limited edition of 1,000 copies. You can
still order the book! We have received questions from fans that worry
that the book is already sold out - it's not! So get yo groove on and
order the book!

The design and layout work is in progress and will be finalised by 30
April 2004. Printing will begin in early May. We expect to be able to
start shipping the book the week of 24 May 2004.

We have updated the book with brief interim information about
Prince's activities and releases between the book's "cut-off date"
(31 December 2003) and today (16 April 2004).

We will publish excerpts (as PDF files) from THE VAULT on
www.uptown.se on 30 April 2004.

A number of subscribers with subscriptions ending with issue #61 or
later have not yet informed us whether they want to use their
outstanding credit as a discount towards THE VAULT. Please contact us
before 30 June 2004 with information about how you want to use the
outstanding credit. Subscribers we have not heard from prior to 1
July 2004 will be sent back issues as reimbursement. (We have
received surprisingly few requests for monetary reimbursement. As we
informed on an info sheet distributed with the magazine [issues #59
and #60], the deadline to request money was 1 April 2004.)
