Prince on the "R&B" charts... yeah, it's in quotes for a reason Prince's music has typically done much better on the R&B charts than it has on the pop charts. However, the fact that the R&B charts no longer have a god damn thing to do with rhythm and blues in any way shape or form might be a hindrance to that.
I just looked at at the top 20 singles on the Billboard R&B thing and aside from Alicia Keys, (and on their good days Beyonce and Usher), its all really shitty hip hop. I simply don't get why Prince is being put into the same category with idiots like Chingy (if I ever meet that motherfucker I will kick his ASS), R. Kelly or whatever. Sadly enough, the only chart that you can find any real musicians on anymore is the Adult Contemporary chart. I know P is already on the AC charts (or at least he was), but for Christ's sake, Cheryl Crow is better company than Ludacris any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Sorry, I know this is kinda pointless, but dammit shit like this pisses me off. The Mothership Connection... Funk, Soul, R&B, & Jazz every Monday night @ 8:00 p.m. Listen @ www.wqaq.com (We are off the air 4 the Summer. Returning in early September 2004)

It is a bit surprising of him bein' on 'R&B'-IMO. I wuz watchin' Music Choice awhile back & they wuz playin' his song 'Little Red Corvette' & it wuz on the Music Choice Classic R&B. I wuz shocked cuz da song dun seem like that typa genre. Samething wit 'Pop Life' that wuz on the MC Classic R&B the otha night. Usher wuz koo by me back in the day. I only listen 2 'Nice and Slow' afda that it's crap. Chingy is aight..I liked his song 'One Call Way' ya know Keshia Knight-Pulliam(Rudy from the Cosbys wuz in it) That song got old tho. R.Kelly I only like his ol'skoo music,I can't stand that song 4got the name I know in the video he wuz dressed like Zorro both black ver. & PINK-sum scary shit. In 'Step In The Name Of Love' he wuz dressed like the Zorro(black color). Ludacris is koo I like his song 'Southern Hospitality' that's da only new thing I'm feelin' from him. & I know on VH1's Top 20 Prince did jump a spot he's @ #17 now. & that stupid song 'Yeah' is STILL #1 that shit needa drop or in words of Lil Jon "Get Low!"(usin' his own shit against'im) [This message was edited Sat Apr 17 13:53:53 2004 by KeLo07] My 2004 August Highlights: *Tuesday 24th*-best day of my lifeI get my *LEARNERS*-Oh yeah it's ALL good!!

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
