something sad and monumental happened today in my life as a prince fan... phew i need to sit down for this one.....
flew back from newzealand to the beautiful northeast of england and after a few days of rest i relented and bowed down to my mums wishes to go through a few of my boxes and hoy some stuff away. no problem mum! ooooh whats this..a box full of original bootlegs.when i say original my TAPES. with much sadness and a wee bit of maturity i threw them all away.....I THREW EM AWAY!!.....ALL OF THEM..about 50!!! songs from the vaults.....royal jewels....the chocolate box ..live at 1st avenue..crucial sob sob..even tho i have them all on pristine cd quality these tapes were my best musical mates back when i was a gangly teenager the day i bought the chocolate box from a record fair in durham.....back in 1988..it was 3 quid and i never looked back..im sure that was my first boot and i still remeber when i first i heard moviestar so if any1 wants them go check the skips around durham city!!!.. | |

if prince is again the biggest star on the planet then surely to god shearer can hold aloft the uefa cup!!! | |

I wish.... I hope... but we always piss it away. 2 cup finals. Champion league qualifiers. Every time we get so close the do something stupid. I reckon we'll do Marseille though - I'd love to see Barthez's face as Shearer spanks the 3rd past him! Valencia will be tricky. But you never know. And you should have flogged your tapes at least. Or given them away on the .org (to me!!) | |
