Dont u miss the feeling Music gave back in tha day? Don't you miss the feeling music give ya back in the days?
Yes I do miss the feeling I got back in the 80ties when I heard a new prince album. I did not expect much from Musicology but when I got the cd I was hoping that this time he made a good cd. On the cd it says schools in, hmmmm, well I think I need 2 attend an other school. I heard it all before. I thought going 2 school is about learning new stuff. I hear nothing new on this cd. A few good songs yes but never really great songs. I heard it all before, he is repeating himself. He said he is gonna do something else after this tour. I hope he is really gonna do that. He surely needs new inspiration. This new cd sounds like he does not enjoy himself anymore. It sounds like Rave. Back then he made a deal with a record company 2, he did a lot of promotion for rave 2. We all know what happened 2 that cd. A big flop. I am afraid the same is gonna happen 2 this new cd. Of course I will go 2 the concert , he still is one of the best performers on stage but he is not one of the best recording artists anymore. But that's ok, we still have the good stuff from back in the 80ties. free ur mind | |

From your post, I believe you want him to actually go backwards - back to 1999, Purple Rain, SOTT. Nothing wrong with that, it is classic and great. But don't couch it as wanting new direction. If anything, I believe Prince has suffered from going in too many directions at once for the past 10 years. Make me feel tiny if it makes you feel tall, but there's always someone cooler than you. - Ben Folds

I also miss Prince music from back in the day. Nothing he does now can come close. He's stuck in a hole. I'm just hoping his Jehova's Witness cult members do something so fucked up to him that he lashes out, turns away from them, and records a real passionate album full of kick-ass.
