Look at MJ and that special he had in 2001, it looked as if it was a ghost trying to imitate him, he can't even move half as fast as he could in 1991.

...yeah right....i don't think so mate...his bj routine was fantastic as always as where the other songs he did on the night...

Perhaps if you compared it 2 the bad tour of '87 or earlier then there would certainly be some validity 2 ur'e statement there bud.

I watched MJ recently on C4 it was a live show, dont know which it was but Usher joined him for a dance and Chris Rock,I think. I thought MJ still moved well in fact I was more impressed than I am when I watch his vids as they seem less natural .
But Princes dancing was a little different more athletic (which I aint saying is better or worse) but all that flying about jumping of things and doing the splits wearing high heals is going to take its toll and perhaps he can still do the splits but I guess like sports men it might effect him in another 20 years and he might struggle to walk from bad knees etc.
The older you get I suppose it takes longer to recover and perhaps he would rather just concentrate on the general performance than frantic dancing. As for JB still being able to do the splits ,thats just one of them things ,take sportsmen some retire years ealier than others coz there joints are knackerd. And agentmonday stop being naughty no more MJ Prince arguments please , I beg you. lol

How about i start my own thread on MJ/ P?? wink

I wasn't arguing 4 any side in particular. I was trying 2 throw that comment about MJ per4mance being like a "ghost" on it's ass, because it simply ain't true. U see i may not like some "artist", and b in luv with P, but i know when I c a great thing on stage when i c it...

Speaking of Prince's splits, I know a lot of people have said that his knees sometimes give him trouble, but could it possibly be his ankles? hmmm I've noticed the way Prince always comes up from his splits like on the back of his heel and I wonder if it may be a strain on the little guy's ankles more than anything?

I saw the show in Cincinnati too. I would agree that his dancing is just a bit more tame than it used to be but I was hardly disappointed!!! He can work a stage better than an Entorage of Rappers with the flashing lights and 6 half naked dancers. I love to concentrate on the music, the instruments and the vocals and I think Prince does too. The show in Cincy was AWESOME with or without the splits!
