I've never heard that they weren't cool, so I don't understand the question.

They've been friends forever, the only time I thought they might've hit a snag in their friendship is when Morris allegedly starting doing drugs, back in the 80's.

They remained friends, but haven't really collaborated on anything musically (released anyway) since 1990's Pandemonium, and the Time's appearance at the 1999, Rave In2 The Year 2000 concert.

But I don't hang out with either of them, so what do I know? I've just never heard of them not being friends.

It would be nice if the current line up of the Time, was opening the Musicology tour, but wishful thinking.
